I have been several times now and the artwork + film presented has been impressive. Once a month month from 5:30-9pm at the Million Fishes Collective (no real address here but it is on the corner of Bryant and 23rd), 2-3 presenters show works in progress or recent work. Drew Boles Video + Interview

Earlier this month I interviewed androgynous composer and sound designer Drew Boles at his studio in the Mission District. Midway through the interview I coerced Drew into throwing on a stylish ensemble and performing one of his new songs down in the industrial district of San Francisco.
Besides being a talented performance artist I found Drew’s unapologetic ownership of his individualism refreshing and powerful.

Violet Utopia’s Livingroom Theatre take off in the mission.
Here are some photos from our new performance “Escape to Unicorn Mountain” which opened last week I play Trevor (below on the right). Before the show I pulled Aaron ( AKA Violet Utopia) aside for a video interview which you can view in this month’s FEATURE section.
