I want to be a STAR

Saturday, January 8th, 2011

Having once been a rising pop star myself, I can always sense the kind of ambition and good looks that lead to success and super stardom. Case in point. Richard, one of my dear readers , submitted this self portrait premiering his NEW look for 2011. This is BEYOND new. This look is so fresh and now that I’m sending it over to my friends at The Satorialist!

The Radical Faeries present The Kasbah Caberet

Monday, November 29th, 2010

If you missed it last year be sure to get your tickets in advance

The dates: Two nights!! Friday, December 10th and Saturday, December 11th.

A Kasbah Cabaret will be an evening of magic, entertainment, harem boys and girls and sumptuous treats. Put on by The Radical Faeries of Santa Cruz, you can expect the unexpected.

I know from insiders that there will be a full blown re-enactment of the Nativity  and the show will be hosted by Prince Mikalini who is flying in from Dubai!

The show will benefit the Santa Cruz Diversity Center and Radical Faeries.

The place: Live Oak Grange Hall, 1900 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz

Given the intimate venue, there’s a good chance both evenings will sell out… may be a good idea to get tickets sooner rather than later.  [$25 per person, including the tasty morsels, the edible ones that is.]

BONEY M – DADDY COOL

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

Not sure how I missed this 35 years ago.

Boney M from West Germany was a disco cross-over group created by producer Frank Farian in 1975 and was composed of four West Indian artists working in London.

Despite his success with Boney M, controversy followed the group’s founder, Frank Farian, in what was to later shadow his involvement with Milli Vanilli.

I LOVE THIS..Thanks for sending Frank.
