The Divine David – Art Masterclass
Friday, August 27th, 2010Ready to pull out that paintbrush and canvas that you’ve had in storage for the past decade?

Sunday, June 6th, 2010Eccentric Geniuses.
Swedish experimental-pop duo, The Knife, have been around for a while but keep a VERY low profile. They avoid the press and publicity in general and rarely do interviews. I stumbled upon them while vacationing in Bangkok and have not seen or heard one peep about them in the U.S.
The Knife is Olof Dreijer and Karin Dreijer Andersson. They are based in Stockholm, Sweden and have made music together since 1999, released on their own label Rabid Records.

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010So there I was. Hungover in bed EASTER MORNING with 20 minutes to throw on my mouse ears and head down to what has become another San Francisco Cultural Queer Institution complete with the Easter Bunny, a HUNKY JESUS contest and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence raising funds for another worthy cause. Hats off to my favorite country mouse Clayton Robbins for instigating more madness and makeup in my life!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010Edit your Consciousness
Sunday, March 14th, 2010SPRAY TO FORGET functions as a beneficial editor for one’s consciousness, removing undesired memories from the user’s psyche via supported intent. Reed Seifer proposes that “in order to forget, we must remember something else. Spray to Forget acts as a conceptual sideways-elevator, nudging the unconscious to release a difficult memory and replace it with a more appealing one, or to create a new memory through experience… It also happens to smell quite good.”
